Paperwork and Requirements for Encampments

Required for each attending girl (troop keeps forms):

must be a registered Girl Scout member
-
Campsite's waiver, if applicable

Required for each attending adult (troop keeps forms):
-
must be a registered Girl Scout member
-
must have completed all background check requirements, including Mandated Reporter Training, LiveScan fingerprinting, and criminal background check (if adult has no other volunteer role within the troop, select 4Her Troop Helper when registering as a member in order to trigger the background screen)

if driving: Transporting Girls form
-
Campsite's waiver, if applicable

Required for troop:
-
have at least 2 unrelated adults attending for up to 12 Brownies, 16 Juniors, etc. (see Volunteer-to-Youth ratio table)

have an adult attending with Basic Overnights training
-
have an adult attending with current certification in CPR/First Aid
-
bring troop first aid kit to camp
-
review the Safety Activity Checkpoints for: Camping (overnights) - Outdoor Cooking (campfires) - and any other higher risk activities to be done at camp
-
all paperwork provided by girls/adults should be kept with each troop at camp, in addition to these forms:

Copy of filled-in Safety Management Plan provided by Encampment Director
