Suggested additions: pajamas, fitted sheet to cover mattress, money (for snack/souvenir shop, Friday dinner), soap/shampoo/conditioner for shower, cards/games.

Troops should bring: troop first aid kit, girls' medications in original containers, copies of all paperwork. Optional: props for skit, binoculars for keeping track of girls in water, earplugs.

What is required of attending troops?

Each troop must have one adult in attendance who has taken Council’s Basic Overnights online training

Each troop must have one first aid-certified adult in attendance (check Service Unit Events or Council Events for classes)

Troops should follow the Safety-Wise requirements for the minimum number of accompanying adults.

All attending adults must be registered Adult Girl Scouts and be in compliance with all background check requirements, including Mandated Reporter Training, LiveScan fingerprinting, and criminal background check.

Each troop is responsible for its own paperwork, including permission forms for girls and health histories for all attendees.

Each troop should prepare a skit or song for campfire (not required, but highly encouraged). For ideas, search the internet for scout skits.
