Brownie Encampment 2016

 

 

1/11/16 Update

 

Brownie Encampment 2016 (flyer) will be at Green Oak Ranch, Saturday, April 16th through Sunday, April 17th.  Check in is at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 16th for everyone.  If your girl or adult is only going for the day, check out will be after dessert, which is around 8:30 p.m.  If your girl or adults are staying for the night, check out will be after breakfast around 9 am.

 

Total Cost for Overnighters:

      $70 per person (children or adult) – 50% deposit due 12/7/15; Balance due 2/8/16

 

Total Cost for Day Trippers

      $45 per person (children or adult) - $35 deposit due 12/7/15; Balance due 2/8/16

 

Each troop needs to write one deposit check made payable to "Scripps Ranch Service Unit".  Please place "Brownie Encampment” and your troop number on the memo line.

 

There are no refunds once the money is submitted to the Scripps Ranch Service Unit.  If you are unable to go after you have already paid and a new girl or adult joins, we will have them take your place and you will get a refund, however there is no guarantee that this will happen. 

 

The following registration documents are due and will be collected on February 8th at the Encampment Planning Meeting along with the balance of the registration fees.

 

For each Troop:

• 2016 Brownie Encampment Registration Form

• Activity Approval Form

• Troop Safety Management Plan

 

For each Girl:

• Permission Slip 2016

• Permission to Give Over-the-Counter Medications

• Girl Health History 

 

For each Adult:

• Adult Health History completed (For privacy, history may be placed in a sealed envelope stating "Adult Health History of Name of Individual"

• Proof of cleared Background Screening--Every Adult spending the night or driving any Girl Scout must complete a Girl Scout Background Check.  If they already did the background check and need a copy of their results please have that adult send an email to volunteer@sdgirlscouts.org and they can provide that adult proof of their passing the background check.  Please have that adult print out a copy of the email which states that they passed their background check and turn it in with your troop's registration documents. • Proof of Adult Girl Scout Registration—Troop Leader may print out a screen shot from their online troop page listing each adult as registered for 2015-2016.
